Further, most of his EO's so far have been an attempt to undo whatever he can to undo Obama's legacy. Gar marriage is one, even though it was a Supreme Court decision that got it done.

Oh I know he can't do anything on gay marriage with an EO. But accurate or not, history will show gay marriage became legal under Obama's tenure. Trump's EO's have been an attempt to undo Obama's legacy. They can't touch gay marriage, so they'll go for something related to it.
Just my guess here. He could go the other way. I don't think Trump really gives a rip about gay marriage/adoption. Pence on the other hand does.

I hope to god this is something in favor of LGBT.
A) I tend to support LGB issues to a certain degree.
