end game of protests -in my opinion anyway

so what is the goal of all these protests about racist america?
the long term goal is to bring socialism, but there isn’t enough support to do that on a nation wide basis.
the short term goal is simple, cause enough unrest in enough places, where the local governments are not willing to suppress the unlawful destruction of public and private property. the short term goal is to get trump to declare martial law to put an end to it. he doors that, the headlines across the country, and probably around the world, would be “fascism comes to america” or something along those lines. the democrats would scream he is repressing the 2nd amendment rights/rights to gather because he is trying to destroy our constitution and become a dictator - or something similar. the dems will then present themselves as trying to save the republic, and the media will be there to help.

Yeah, basically what CDawson said, it really just boils down to getting that rascal Donald Trump out of office. Because I'm not convinced that the ever-aging politicians with the necessary power really give much of a shite about the whole thing once they've moved on. I believe those power brokers are simply in it for themselves and have varying self-interests in the short term.

Socialism by definition is an authoritarian system. You use the cannon fodder malcontents to create a crisis that can be solved by an authoritarian that promises the masses that they can restore order. They crackdown hard on the cannon fodder and the malcontents taking more and more power because of the crisis.

If they come to my neighborhood, they are in for a big, BIG awakening.
3 combat vets, 5 local cops, almost everyone is/was a hunter growing up and owns multiple weapons/ammo.

I've said multiple times on this board that the left wants Trump to call in the troops and have them start mowing protesters down so they can pin a Kent State situation on him. They want to be able to have proof of troops sent in by Trump killing civilians so they can actually have reason to paint him as a tyrant/dictator.
