Elon is a senior general in a war with many fronts.
The house is important but the day to day garbage a speaker deals with should be left to others so he can apply his logic, resources and apply pressure in a much broader way.
He’s also a visionary type and visionaries rarely do well when forced into day to day minutiae.
The GOP has never had a resource like him in my lifetime. We need to hope he’s allowed to do what he does best and not shoehorned into a box which likely doesn’t suit him.
