It's in the common playbook now for every group who is trying to exert authority. Here and abroad.

Then the undercover does something dramatic and the entire group gets blamed.

Oldest trick in the book.

All those farmers would eventually be arrested for insurrection over here and held without bond.

This is the part that sucks. I fully expect the feds to infiltrate groups that could possibly get violent. That’s just keeping their eyes and ears open. Of course, the groups they choose to infiltrate seem to be those the left dislikes. Why didn’t they infiltrate the Muslim jihadists who attacked the WTC?

At this point I start getting suspicious of everybody I don’t know.

Christ, I was in Sams and there was a guy having a public meltdown about how prices increased. I mentioned inflation and bad politics causing it.

He called the politicians stupid and I said “I think they are doing this on purpose.”

He said “Someone needs to do something about them!” and I noped out and walked off quietly.

This was an older guy in his 50s or later with grey hair as opposed to a crew cut in cargo shorts and sunglasses but still fishy as hell.

I may speak the truth but I draw the line at advocating acts in public that could be construed as terrorism or sedition.

Pretty sure I met a fed boi (or a closet queer- same same) at Bass Pro, while ammo shopping. He was “from out of town” and just looking for “someone to shoot/talk guns with.” I politely informed him that I know very little about guns, and I was just trying to get some .410 for my paw paw’s birthday.

I think most reasonable people are now at the point of just hoping someone can do something to end the madness. None of us know what that something is.

The spitting from the old man in there is awesome. He does a walk up with leg drive and gets off the ground for distance.

I’ve gotten to be the opposite. I’m not scared of these people and I have every right to speak my opinion. Let them come for me I’ll be ready. I’m not going out looking to start trouble but I will not cower in fear and they will not take my rights from me.

Hence the line between “they are doing this on purpose” and “here is what should happen to them.”

One is speaking truth. The other can be considered sedition if you aren’t one of the “approved” opposition groups.

Pretty sure to be sedition you’d have to actually say that you plan to do something yourself. Saying “they deserve such and such” or “if it keeps up people will eventually have enough” is just an opinion.

I’m talking more in the theoretical of “Two assholes with a sedan and a rifle managed to have the entire DC beltway tied up for a long time. Imagine all kinds of people doing similar things without coordination.”
