it was said to be the bluest district in the USA. Not sure if that includes DC or not...

Charlie Kirk has a convention rally all set in the bluest district in Michigan.

LINK

It ISN'T OFFICIAL. The official one in WI that Paul Ryan refuses to go to will still happen.

Rumors that the establishment wing are planning something in WI to force Trump to take Nikki as VP

LINK

IMO: The usual we won't destroy JFK you IF you pick such and such as VP...

I don't think they can show mandate: Because Haley got crossover dem votes that would never carry in a general election. But the billionaire donors may easily be dictating.

It is being said that Trump will choose a VP at convention or shortly before.

Literally no one has said or implied this.

The left vilified Trump as a racist in the last two elections. Now he's got 20+K at a rally The Bronx. If that doesn't give you concern, you probably have to employ cortical centers to maintain respiration.

It's an absolutely seismic shift in voter sentiment about Trump.

And the great comedy of it all is that the leftist "brain trust" that thought they could damage Trump with a series of bogus criminal prosecutions has played directly into his hand. Painting himself as a victim of a corrupt system that is rigged against the common man, he now appeals to low-income minority voters in urban areas.

What are Democrats going to do to counter? Trot out their doddering septuagenarian that can barely string together a few sentences or climb a flight of stairs? Their VP who has the intellect and charisma of a hyena? Democrats with an IQ north of 60 know they have a major problem.

What leverage does that wing have on Trump at this moment?

Trump leads in the polls.
Trump runs the GOP.
Trump has locked up the nomination in landslide fashion.

So this isnt wide eyed naive 2015-2016 lets be maganamous with my foes Trump. This is the 2024, "I've just been through 8 years of hell, screwed over and facing prison" version Trump who holds all the cards.

Im not doubting they will try something, but I think they're pissing in the wind.

You can't flip a state without starting grassroots. Inner cities have been Dems biggest stronghold for many years. Even a strong showing for Trump in NY would send a strong message.

Neocons like Haley pose as big a threat to continued Liberty in this nation as both those buffoons.

Haley is a venomous snake.

I don’t fault Trump for accepting the endorsement of any Repube but if he seriously considers Haley for any capacity beyond some ceremonial and meaningless appointment, he is in effect sandbagging his supposed MAGA agenda.

I think people are missing the point in many ways here. It would be a titanic shock to see Trump carry NY. But losing NY 55/45 would go a long way balancing out the popular vote.

It would also cause havoc down ballot for many of those Dem incumbents that have for years taken their leftover campaign donations and used it to their own personal benefit. Everyone dollar they have to spend increases their animus towards the dem party machine. Much less any losses in the classic stronghold areas forces a retool for the Dem party for the next election, which costs more $$.

Any thing that chips away at the long time established hold of the Dems is good. They have been doing it to the republicans in Texas and Nevada for years. Going on offensive just helps balance out the spending on both sides more

His campaign stop at the downtown ATL Chick Fil A, where the only white people were his security detail, should have been the dem's wakeup call. Now he's in the Bronx. He needs to do inner city rallies once a week from Chicago to LA to Philly to Detroit. Minny-StPaul. There's a spark, time to put kindling on the fire.
