You'd be surprised at how 'relaxed' I am, MG. I'm right up there with Drew in the feel good about life category.
But like just off the coast out there now, I see a gathering political storm, which can ruin it for all of us. I was in cruise control right before Katrina...and a week later, I rode around my community...and got a real wake up call.
I argue for argument's sake. My conscience dictates that I do so, for various reasons. Great Granddaughter who naps in the lazy boy with me, at the fore. Life is pretty short; to each their own. Our best hope is that there is something 'there', after this life, to answer to. If not...that sucks.

The only Republican laden sport is baseball. At this point I don’t know how anyone could be surprised by a football or basketball player skewing left.

Look at it clinically: They're famous for the name on the front of their jersey, not the back. They got attention because their shirt says USA, not because they have so many fans. And what do they do with their unwarranted attention? Shite on the very thing that brought them fame and offered them a platform. Disgraceful.

Agreed. Personally, I don't even know what their true views or feeling are. Do they say things just to get a rise or to get publicity? IDK.
But I never pulled for anyone to blow out a knee because I didn't like what they said, either. I was cheering for them all the way through
