To be honest, I think the Brees situation shed a lot of light on this topic. Clearly, the two sides arguing over kneeling aren't even arguing about the same thing.
That's where it gets tricky though. There are so many other ways to fight so called racial inequality besides kneeling for your countries national anthem. It doesn't really bother me but I can see how it would piss off a lot of people.
This is how you know Trump is the most authentic politician in office. He doesn't pander to very many groups of people. He is raw, yes. Pretty unfiltered. Drew hasn’t heard criticism in 15 years nor should he have. The man and his foundation have done more for inner city youths than anybody in New Orleans in the last fifty years. One thing y’all gotta realize is he is part of the community in the middle of the city. He doesn’t live way out on a compound untouchable. His wife shops at the local grocery. His kids go to local schools. He counseled Zion on how to embrace the city. Of course he was scared for his family with death threats. He obviously shouldn’t have crawfished on his thoughts on the flag. Most ticket holders agree with him 100% and would have supported him. Anybody paying attention knows he doesn’t have a racist bone in his body.
