Queer

Now they are running the show.[/quote]

Remember it like it was yesterday. Was at a friends house and his brother came out dressed to go on a date and my bud told his brother, "that's a queer looking shirt" (as in queer = weird looking, not gay) and his brother told my bud "don't you let momma hear you say that word, she will whip your butt if she does".

This is what happens when you don’t have female cheerleaders.

The fact you have to ask…..they are 100% liberal school!
With time you’ll get to see what they are truly like!

A&M hosting a drag show and Aggie Hank passively defending it is the least surprising thing I've read today.

Well now your tickets aren't worthless. You can attend the show with other worthless groomers.

If she was even handed, she would have required showing "The Best Little Whorehouse In Texas" that weekend also.

Leaving the legal aspect out of it, what is your opinion on your alma mater condoning, supporting and hosting this event? Inquiring minds are inquiring.
TAMU rents space in the various Rudder performance venues to student organizations. Always has. Nothing more.

I see no reason for the University to refuse to rent the facility to this organization.

if some student organization wanted to host either a showing of the film, or a live performance, I would have no problem with renting the space to them either.

it certainly would not be the most controversial play ever presented at Rudder.

That aside, you DO (I hope) understand the difference between an injunction allowing a long-planned event to proceed and a (hypothetical) injunction requiring ... someone (who?) ... to plan and produce an event on three days' notice? Maybe not.

Hank apparently can’t defend the ruling, so he defends the judge instead
As I said above, we simply do not at this point know much about the substance of this ruling.

I suspect that the University was simply trying to void a contract that it had no legal right to void.

Yes, I would defend her ruling if that is the case. anyone who respects contract law would do the same.

It is harmless, campy fun.

If you are too much of an uptight prig to loosen up and have a few laughs, I feel badly for you.

This isn't a 'campy' Rocky Horror Picture Show type event. And you know this much too well. Or maybe you don't. After thinking about this and your continued takes on this general subject, I am guessing the latter.
