Trump saying saying 14 days to slow the spread was permission for all the mandate bullshite. The most disappointing moment of his presidency. It also lead to all the money he gave out. I still shake my head.
A soft defense could be made that even the staunchest conservatives (at least the older ones I knew) were in favor of many mandates.

Can trump fire Fauci? You should be able to show clearly he can or it’s an invalid argument. Can the president fire Director of NIAID? Fauci made more money than trump in his position.
