The Dow is rocking because people are starting to realize that Joe Biden will not be the man fixing all those problems.

Ive red pilled more people this year that put $500 in Tesla and Apple in March and now have $3500-$4000 than you would think.
Kudos to the TSLA investors. I've never been able to make sense of that one.
As for AAPL had to bite the bullet at these levels, and take some LTCGs off the table.

Looks like a V shape recovery here to me.
I hope you’re right, and I think it will be, but the stock market is not the economy.

My company announced today they've shaved off 7% of their work force permanently and will reevaluate next quarter if we need more.
Also said they don't see oil cracking $50/bbl in the next two years, which is huge for our industry. Basically letting us know we're in a for a rough two years.
I guess maybe the DOW doesn't really equal the whole economy.

yea funny how that happens? there is no reason for our stock market to be making record gains with the overall outlook of the economy being so bad right now. My 401k is happy and i am happy it just doesn't make since.

I did not expect it to stay above 29k, but it did not get the resistance I was expecting.
I had a year end goal for my 401k that I did not really expect to hit this year. I checked my balance this morning (have not in months) and I was about 0.16% away from hitting it.
Just going to say I feel really blessed to be in the situation I am. Doing my part to give back over the holidays this year. Wishing all of you the best.

No it doesn't.
Just because there are 187k folks dead, it doesn't mean it's from COVID.
