What would you call tariffs to protect the steel industry?

What makes you think I support tariffs? You haven't seen the hundred or so posts I've made denouncing them?

this is true. Hard to compete. The only thing saving the small business is the personal relationships they have with their customers.

He’s executing a business model more efficiently than others. So now the OP decides its time to regulate the successful? What law is Amazon breaking. Damn...you Trumpers will definitely blindly follow what he says. Just like him promising Mexico would pay for the WAHL?!? Guess what...bait and switch suckers!

What does any of this have to do with your ignorant assertion that Amazon is representative of free market capitalism?

My guess is that Trump sees that Amazon is getting a better deal than they should.
"Should?" Why should they not get whatever deal they can make that both parties agree to?

Where did Trump weaponized the IRS?

Now why did you have to go and interject economics into this?

We are talking about Amazon here. Are you arguing antitrust regulation on Amazon because of what WaPo publishes?

That was a sidebar point replying to Yak.

Explain the economics for us because the vast majority of this thread isn’t seeing it.

I don’t think you understand what this means. Do you literally not understand how many thousands of businesses...hell even sports teams this could be applied to? It’s called loopholes. GOP supporters are setting themselves up to look dumb if they’re arguing a business exploiting loopholes.

That sounds like Trump should fix USPS's business model, not attack Amazon for being efficient.

Exactly. USPS is hamstrung by the government, and as a result, anyone who wants to send a package via USPS could/would enjoy the same "subsidy."

This has got to be a troll. You can’t be that stupid. Are you wearing a red MAGA hat while you’re replying to my posts? If so, I guess we have our answer.

No more than the average defense contractor, like Boeing.

They have a 600 million deal with the CIA and are involved in a supply porthole that will be worth billions
