We are talking about Amazon here. Are you arguing antitrust regulation on Amazon because of what WaPo publishes?

Trump all about that ego, he’s looking to take down Bezos. Wonder when the 30% will wake up and decide he doesn’t give a frick about them.

I hate Bazos, but I respect him.
IMO Amazon in one of the most innovative companies in the world. Yes they benefited from a tax policy that was late to adapt but that isn't the only reason for their success.
It's not like they are Tesla.

I love Amazon....but you are woefully ignorant if you think it is free market capitalism.

A state tax policy, not federal.

Josh Sandbulte, a hedge fund manager with a stake in FedEx, wrote a Wall Street Journal op-ed asserting that the Postal Service effectively subsidizes Amazon, losing an average of $1.46 for each shipment it delivers.
From WaPo. Not to mention the president himself and several others.

I like how people get up in arms about this crony capitalism, but many seem to support steel tariffs.

“The whole post office thing, that's very much a perception he has,” another source said. “It's been explained to him in multiple meetings that his perception is inaccurate and that the post office actually makes a ton of money from Amazon."
I don't think that's the issue. The issue is whether or not the Post Office is getting compensated for whatever the fair market value of that service is. My guess is that Trump sees that Amazon is getting a better deal than they should.

I'm a bit worried about the power these tech companies are amassing.
Bezos pays politicians, gets favorable regulations and direct deals with govt and squashes competition.
Bezos is what lefties used to hate about Walmart.

He’s executing a business model more efficiently than others. So now the OP decides its time to regulate the successful? What law is Amazon breaking. Damn...you Trumpers will definitely blindly follow what he says. Just like him promising Mexico would pay for the WAHL?!? Guess what...bait and switch suckers!
