What is Donald going to do if Elon does fund Democrats?

He’ll weaponize the government against him. Trump is about Trump. He doesn’t give a shite about anyone else.

Trumps not a king. Elon can do what he wants with his money. I hope he doesn't give it to Dems but I'd not mind if he gave it to real conservatives to run against the MAGA folk who seem more loyal to the man over the constitution.

You bringing out some old classics there. Nobody thinks he’s a king, and nobody, not even himself, said Musk was forbidden from donating his money to anyone or anything. Thus, your point about “he can do what he wants with his money” is misplaced and misguided.

He's warning Elon of major consequences, i.e government retaliation against Elon, if he give money to Dems.

Why would Trump say this?

It was 100% about EV subsidies

Elon has been on the record about ending EV subsidies. It was about several things the BBB, Trump canned his handpicked choice for NASA and IRS and other things.

Elon flew to close to the sun and got pushed out and is now lashing out.

1) Kill his govt subsidies
2) Re-open the investigations started by the Biden DOJ
3) Check his Visa status, and start proceedings

Musk may be rich on paper, but Trump is the most powerful person on the planet

I suppose because there would indeed be negative consequences for such an extreme, bizarre move. I believe Trump felt the need to say something a little more on the portentous side, because Musk seemingly was in a manic episode and needed to be “shocked” back into reality. I mean, what do you think Trump intends with those words? Guantanamo Bay?

So Trump openly says he will use his office to attack a person who wants to support a Democrat ? Trump Family Crime Syndicate.

The way some of you stay in denial even if it comes out of his damn mouth. Trump said he will use his office to punish a citizen for donating to the Democrats. That's right up there with being a dictator.

Once again we’ve got known leftists and DeSantis supporters joining forces to screech about Trump. Pathetic.

Current DeSantis supporters are just Bush/Cheney republicans.

Oh did Trump actually say those things, verbatim?? Because that’s exactly what you appear to think. Which is problematic, in a number of ways.

President Donald Trump on Saturday said there would be “serious consequences” if tech mogul Elon Musk funds Democratic candidates to run against Republicans who vote in favor of the GOP’s sweeping budget bill.

“If he does, he’ll have to pay the consequences for that,” Trump told NBC News in a phone interview, but declined to share what those consequences would be.

“He’ll have to pay very serious consequences if he does that,” he added.

And If you don't think Trump will do some shady shite, you must've be kidding yourself.

Well, I did already ask you exactly what types of “shady shite” you suspect that Trump would do, specifically. And I ain’t trying to pick a fight for no good reason, it’s a genuine question.

Why do you dick riders always pull this same exact line of argument?

"Oh yeah? Trump is going to do XYZ? PROVE IT! He didn't threaten anything, he just said there would be consequences! That's not a threat, you can't prove he's going to do anything!"

Assuming you don’t know what I was referencing and your question was in good faith….

Is accusing someone of being a pedo a bad thing? Let’s start there.

I think you say it is.

Did you know Trump did that exact thing not all that long ago?

So was that bad because it certainly was not called bad by the most ardent Trump folks at the time.

I ain’t even mad at ya, bro. How could I be? It would be wrong. Just let me say this, and we’ll see if it takes: Where exactly did I ask anyone to “prove” anything? Are you not able to come up with a single thing that you would “go on record” and say that this xyz is something I could see Trump weaponizing to actually punish Musk in a manner that should be unacceptable to every single person in this country. Why would you deflect, and be damn angry while doing it, for some reason.
