That is a fair statement. IMO, every foreign policy undertaking T47 has made, directly or indirectly, targets Beijing.

Yes, if only because he's one of just a very few over the past century who is a true outsider, like JFK (incredibly) was, as opposed to being a part of the corrupt Political Establishment. Our crooked system had the 2016 presidential election set up to be yet another choice of either a Clinton (Hillary) or a Bush (Jeb), but a brash billionaire businessman from NYC who had never even run for dog catcher came along and upset the apple cart.

It's really a shame that half the country is now some combination of too stupid and too brainwashed to understand this.

For all that Reagan did he made some big mistakes that pushes him down the list. Trump is making some of the same mistakes Reagan made. Messing around in the Middle East was and is a mistake. Arming the Taliban against USSR was extremely short sided. The Soviet economy was already collapsing and giving weapons to an extremist group was a huge mistake. We spent over $2.3 trillion in Afghanistan from 2001 to 2021

While running against Carter the Reagan campaign made a deal with Iran’s regime to not let prisoners go until he was in office. Minutes after he was sworn in the hostages were released. He then armed the Iranians for over 6 years in their war against Iraq. In the last 5 weeks we have spent $28 billion in Iran.

These are 2 mistakes we are still paying for over 40 years later.

Donald Trump term 1 was one of the best…… at least in modern times. Fixed it for you!

Yet, he was blown out by a guy in a basement. Covid response was a disaster.

Not even the best of my lifetime.

If he had an ounce of humility and decency, he'd still fall short because of his insistence on continuing $1T deficits.

That being said, he's 1000x better than any Democrat candidate since Bill Clinton.
