Only if you're an idiot. Biden is incompetent, but he's your president.

You want to pretend Trump had nothing to do with this because you have no idea how inflation works.

He is our illegitimate president. Sorry you cannot grasp that concept. I am not pretending that Trump did not have his hand in it but Biden took a flame thrower to it. I can promise you that I understand economics and inflation better than you. I mean you prove to be smooth brained on here daily so I do not have to try much.

So all throughout Trumps presidency and the money that was spent and still a relatively low inflation rate of 1.5 Is good

Inflation lags.

The cliff was covid spending. People werent working, but still getting paid. when things opened up, prices shot through the roof and supplies dwindled.

The entire covid thing was mismanaged, people got paid who didnt need to get paid. In fact, we paid people not to work.

Thats the cliff. Trump and the other politicians in congress did that. Joe has just kept pumping up inflation to keep it high. We're so far in debt there are few tools left to fight with, we've spent them all.

He's your president, and no amount of whining about it will change that.

Sure you are. So is Trump. He got the ball rolling on it, but we're supposed to buy that he's the only one who will fix it.

Inflation is largely being driven by housing costs.

The rates dropping in march of 2020 was welfare to the richest people in the country. White collar home owners, whose income was unaffected, were given motivation to do home renovations or move with all the extra cash.

The early supply chain crunches were in home building products because there was such a rush on product when people started to work from home.

Blaming it on the few hundred dollar gibs is ignoring the larger issue that drove up housing costs

i say this as someone that benefited from the rate drop.

beyond that, the supply chain got so bad that companies over-bought product because they had no idea when it was coming in.

Inflation covered the gamut. Pretty much everything cost more and was in short supply.

Shutting down global economies and pushing money to people has consequences.

The ball was rolling well before Trump. Who is going to be better than Trump at fixing this economic disaster? The problem is that no matter who takes the reins it is going to take more than a term or two to get the ball rolling in the right direction. We are that screwed up now.

How is he going to fix it? He helped cause it.

Not for the current mess we're in.

You can't blame Biden without blaming Trump. That's the point. They both suck, and dumbasses like you and BamaAtl have made sure that this will continue.

Obama didnt think Trump had a magic wand to grow GDP and manufacturing. He proved him wrong. He rammed that magic wand right up the lefts arse....right up until the stupid Covid pandemic. All while putting up with stupid as frick impeachments based on nonsense.

You cant fricking print money at the rate Biden is and shut down energy production while ramping up costly regulations. He forgives student loans, sends shite tons of money (frick you RINOS) to be wasted in the Ukraine and Istrael (none of which happened under Trump). Bidens shite foreign policy and global destabilization isnt helping. Lets not mention the money wasted, billions upon billions, to "save the planet" from GHGs...those costs are also passed onto consumers. In a nutshell, the left is a fricking disaster.

The hysterical left shutdown of everything during the pandemic sure didnt help either. Ill run my country like Florida, you run yours like California. Lets see who goes tits up first. My guess is you.

Inflation is being driven by the over printing of currency and the war on energy. Housing, along with everything else (food, insurance, etc) is just a reflection of that.

Nope, but we'd finally get moving back in the right direction.

If the tards in this country could handle it, Massie or Rand would be even better. That, of course, will never happen because it'd require some personal accountability from everyone.

We had almost 4 years of Trump...you already have that data, what more do I need to add? The left took over mid pandemic...so I point to Florida for how it could have and should have been handled. Trump campaigned for DeSantis. So, Yes.

Should we run this country into the ground like the Left is doing, like they have done so in many many areas of the country?

thats exactly what obama said, something about, "whats he got, a magic wand or something?"

and trump waved his magic wand and turned it around in less than a year all while the GOPe blocked everything that he tried to do

its not a secret how to fix things, just reverse everything biden has done since he stole the office
