This is funny to me because it reads like Vance thinks he gets a say. It's a like a kid making a proclamation and looking back and saying, "right, dad?"
The second Trump thinks any of these guys are poltical liabilities they're gone. He'll jsut replace them with similar folks who don't have the baggage.

Uh, Vance has almost no ideological crossover with Trump and is already majorly influencing Trump and the MAGA movement generally.
The second part of your post, where Trump may go to war with them and end the influence/alliance, is correct.
Trump has repeatedly (and sometimes to his detriment) let his ideological/policy decisions be influenced by a pretty diverse group.
