I don't believe for one second he's telling the truth.
I think he's lying or stretching the truth.
But his story is still Iran.
If he's trying to create distance between himself and Qatar, bringing exponentially more attention on himself and foreign dealings seems counter-productive. It's not like if he's violated FARA with Qatar that this diversion will affect an actual prosecution. They'd already have that evidence.

I see it as entirely fan base insurance.
If they charge him he will say that they couldn't prove Iran so they (the Israelis) are attacking him over his valid business deals with Qatar.

The CIA knew Tucker was speaking to the Iranian regime.
That means that when Trump invited Tucker to the Oval Office multiple times in the lead up to the Iran strike, he knew full well that Tucker was backchanneling information to the Iranians.
Essentially Trump seems to have used Tucker as an unwitting counter-intel asset, to convince Khamenei that he was bluffing, that nothing would happen.
Trump was basically able to kill Khamenei thanks to Tucker's arrogance.
Now Tucker's also legally fricked.

Where is this “Tucker was back channeling information to Iran” coming from?
Completely made up nonsense.
If this entire thing is true, which I’m skeptical it is anything more than a couple of rogue CIA agents, then Tucker is being punished for speaking out against Israel. That would be all there is to it. You can make up whatever bullshite you want to defend Trump, but it would create a civil war within the Republican Party like you have never seen

They're just mad at Tucker because he won't put the little hat on and dance.
Neither are the pro-Palestine democrats, but I don't see them being investigated.

Are any democrats actually trying to stop the war or all they all doing lip service to appease their base?
Second, Tucker is being viewed as someone who was loyal turning on the administration. Those types are always punished far more than the original dissenters.

What is Tucker doing to stop the war? Talking to a camera? Like AOC and gang?
Keep reaching.

"The admin" according to Tucker and his supporters, are puppets of Israel. So you can't look at this from a MAGA pov, you'd have to look at it from the Israel pov (or agree that this admin aren't puppets of Israel). And from Israel's pov Tucker is exactly the same sort of road bump as AOC and gang.

When Trump does something the left doesn’t like we have 5 years of evidence that shows how they respond. Manufactured protests, wailing and gnashing of teeth and chaos across Washington. Yet for this one, it’s pure lip service.
Also, comparing a politician with legislative power to a podcaster is hilarious. One has for more tools to enact change than the other

Wrong. The admin is MAGA. Tucker was on the inside and spent tons of time at the White House. In fact in the first six months the Zionist crowd was furious at how much time Trump and JD spent with Tucker. He is not the same as someone like an AOC who has been a dissenting voice from the beginning.
In fact if there is one thing we know about Trump it’s that loyalty is more important than anything else.

So Israel isn't controlling Trump?

Just trying to keep track now.
If the spying is directed at Iranian enemies and Tucker sends/receives a message, you are blaming the CIA for making allegations against Tucker?
Tucker doesn't get any citizenship immunity in that scenario.
He might get a 6x10 living accommodation on the taxpayer's dime.

He’s bought and paid by foreign propagandists. If they have the proof charge him.

The CIA can legally spy on American citizens if they are outside the United States. Inside the US it would require a warrant and the FBI would be required to do the surveillance.

On Friday morning, I taped an appearance on Tucker Carlson’s program to discuss the ongoing Iran War, growing Israeli influence in the U.S., and proliferating attacks on free speech in the West in the name of shielding that one foreign country from critique (I presume it will air in the next few days). Perhaps the most notable part of our conversation was what Tucker told me prior to the cameras rolling.
Tucker said he had learned from several high-placed sources — and he obviously has many within the Trump administration — that the CIA was preparing a criminal referral about him to the DOJ. The subject of the agency’s report of suspected crimes: conversations he allegedly had with Iranian officials and others in Iran prior to the start of the Trump/Netanyahu war. The clear implication was that Tucker had committed acts of subversion or even treason by speaking to Iranians in advance of the war that was about to be launched on their country.
