The DOJ’s request for a protective order notes that some “materials also include information pertaining to ongoing investigations, the disclosure of which could compromise those investigations and identify uncharged individuals.”
Only the DOJ can put out their narrative.

Eta and the doj honestly gave up any obligation to give a shite about their investigations by engaging in this lawless witch hunt during an election.
They can file their fan fiction indictment publicly and not allow a presidential candidate to respond f publicly.

My only issue is the “ongoing investigation” card they repeatedly play to avoid self incrimination. They never answer questions. They do it even when an investigation is closed.

102 marked pages out of “dozens of boxes”, and even still the defense is saying it was unclassified. After everything we’ve seen, it’s hard to imagine people still take these cases seriously

That's standard in cases involving much less sensitive data.
Now if you want to discuss a bullshite request, this is it:

Very few judges are going to let Trump, with his history of public statements and social media shitposting, discuss evidence in an ongoing criminal matter.

But there is nothing standard when dealing with this case. Yeah, P/O 's are standard......even helpful in a lot of cases, but with Trump even having a limited gag in place works to his advantage from a PR standpoint.
In fact I think he may quietly welcome it and turn all of his energy into savaging Jack Smith and the DOJ for establishing a show trial. But he can also use it as a campaign tool and issue. "See, they're trying to silence you by shutting me up"
