Does RFK endorsement definitely help Trump?

One thing I was concerned about is whether never Trumpers who were voting RFK may switch to Kamala -- this will happen to an extent, I'm just not sure if it will outnumber those who will switch from RFK to Trump.

I know there was polling data on Trump v Biden with and without RFK running, and it seemed to help Trump usually, but I'm not sure about Trump v Kamala.

You don't see a potential issue with never Trumpers who were voting RFK?

It should get Trump a couple of points in the polls and on Election Day.

It was the same when Trump vs Kamala. RFK took 2 points from Trump and 1 or less from Kamala

Never Trumpers are by and large neocons who are beholden to everything Trump and RFK agree about.

They weren’t voting for RFK either

RFK dropping out helps trump.

RFK endorsing Trump will hurt with independents and undecideds.

RFK is perceived as a moron with batshit ideas and brainworms by most of the “center”.

If people liked RFK, they already would have been voting for him. Dude started on 3rd base due to his name and ended up striking out.

In a tight race, a 2% gain is big.

Polls have Kamala up 1%. Trump outperformed polls by around 4% in both 2016 and 2020, so Trump is probably somewhere around +2-3%. This could take him to 4-5%, which is more than Obama won by in 2012.

This is a BFD.

Only thing I'm worried about is the Dems voting for the ones that will stay home now instead of voting for RFK Jr.

Cheating

There’s a shite ton like me that will now pivot from RFK to Trump.

Additionally, the never Trumpers are likely to not vote now instead of that insufferable count.

I'd imagine the RFK votes will split the following way:

1. 50% of it goes to Trump
2. 40% of it goes to Kamala
3. 10% just won't vote

Not to mention the very few out there in swing states who may have planned on not voting at all but now see a Kennedy say "you know what? the democrat party is so fricked that I'm endorsing Trump" and decide to vote for Trump when they weren't gonna vote at all.

Net positive for Trump and considering he lost 2020 by a total of roughly 30,000 votes in swing states, I think this could move the needle.
