Does anyone really believe Trump was trying to effect the 2020 GE?

Of course not! Trump’s not worried about Biden or any other Dim challenger. I’ll tell ya what Trump’s worried about, I’ll tell ya what he’s frustrated about too.
Trump’s worried that none of the SOBs that have been diligently working to unseat a duly elected president are going to pay for their crimes they’ve committed while trying to take him down. He’s not gonna let this BS go.
It’s become personal Joe, you’re part of the resistance that’s hell bent on destroying his presidency and Trump knows your Ukrainian shenanigans are fair play.
Trump’s extremely frustrated. He’s frustrated not one DC Swamp Skunk has been prosecuted. He’s well aware that if any of the illegal surveillance shite thrown at him during his 2016 campaign were used by the R’s against a Dim candidate people would probably be in prison.
Mr POTUS, I know you’re trying your damndest to expose all the mass government corruption, rest assured most Americans are standing with you on this fight. If the Swamp is successful in framing you.... well you know what to do.....claim no intent Mr POTUS, it’s a guaranteed Swamper get out of jail free card...unless you’re not a Swamper in good standing!

I don't. Hell, Biden stood a good chance of not even being the candidate for the Dems. Trump wouldn't stick his neck out for a probable candidate, imo. I really think he was asking for help for looking into corruption of the previous admin.

And ironically it’s democrats trying to use this for the election. Trump’s phone call was private. It only got into the public (and political theatre) because of a democrat “whistleblower”.

Trump knows that Biden has a lot of info concerning the corruption in the previous administration, Trump’s looking for some answers.
