To me this is the big story in terms of where the election is headed and what is going on inside the campaigns. I simply don't believe that Biden will be any closer than 3 points in Georgia. So, I am wondering if the focus there is due to their internal polling or suggesting that he really is close, or if this is more of a Hail Mary type deal due to them knowing he is behind in too many other crucial states. I just feel like this is a Hail Mary.

No.

something people don't understand is that Georgia has a large black population... but those blacks are more likely to vote conservative than the blacks you see in Cali, NYC, Chicago etc etc.

Maybe not the ones in Clayton County but in other areas of the state

Yes. He has a shot at winning every state depending on how blatant they will forge and harvest votes and whether or not this country has the backbone to fight them.

Okay, but why did he decide to spend time there in the last week?

As it stands? No.

If the city of Atlanta hadn’t shite the bed so badly this past summer? It would have been possible. The mayor and county DA fricked up so badly that it galvanized votes against the Dems.

Maybe his internals match up with the averages and he thinks he has a shot

It'll be closer than people think, but it's going red

I think he just had to do his due diligence down there

Even so, that makes no sense. He MUST win PA, WI, NE, FL, etc. So, either his campaign believes they are way ahead in all of those states or things are so bad for them that they are swinging for the fences in Georgia.

I have no idea what to believe any more. I voted, my wife voted. It'll be what it'll be.

We almost elected Stacey Abrams.....so yes. If it happens it will be because of 4 out of 159 counties.

Atlanta, Macon, and Columbus make up 70% of the dem vote in GA. I’m in the rural part of GA and see a TON of Trump signs. I can honestly count the Biden signs on one hand.

Having said that it’s all going to be about turn out. I believe Trump wins the state.

Everything from the Biden Campaign is perception right now. He had to get out of the basement because Trump has lured him out. If he follows Trump's locations, the comparisons leaves a bad perception of his candidacy. He can go to GA and campaign, and it gives his base the perception that he is chasing States he really doesn't need or have a chance.

Or things are so bad for them in the swing states, the DNC is using Joe to try to help with some down ballot races...

Now way GA is legitimately close...
