My wife, sort of. Voted third party in 2016. MAGA in 2020. But I live in a state where it does not matter.

Yes. My wife's sister (hot, no pics) and her husband were finally red-pilled over COVID shutdowns. She is a hedge fund manager and lost at least $10MM (we think its more based on meltdown and lifestyle changes) due to unnecessary COVID economic shutdowns. She was a limousine liberal (mostly social, not fiscal) before and they were like that Southpark San Francisco episode where they go to fancy liberal art parties and smell each others farts. Now she is militant MAGA because someone f'd with her money. Its pretty funny to witness. She will text us all these COVID statistics and Breitbart conservative red meat headlines like she just discovered a new planet or something. She is like "HOW CAN THEY JUST LIE TO US LIKE THIS AND KILL THE ECONOMY TO WIN AN ELECTION!!!"

Not personally.
I know quite a few who registered to vote after Trump won and started voting regularly in 2018 strictly to oppose him. Basically all young white women 20-30.
I know a dozen more in their early 30s, young middle class churchgoing families in a red state, who I assume normally vote Republican (big pro-lifers) that have been highly critical of Trump's coronavirus response. They all think he's a fricking moron, so it remains to be seen if he's "their moron" or not. I think they're more likely to sit out than vote Biden but I dunno.
I know one solid Republican that wrote in Rubio last year that I believe will vote Trump this year - this is what I expect to be the largest gain for Trump: deep red Republicans in deep red Districts that didn't like him or respect him in 2016 but feel compelled to vote for him in 2020. Not sure how much effect that will have in the Midwest though.

I know a number of women who are voting for Biden this time and are former Rs (or claim to be).
In fairness, I think it's likely a lot of them voted for McMuffin or the like last cycle so they're not truly crossovers.

A friend of mine and his wife had never voted Republican before, he told me last week they voted early for Trump. I was shocked because his grandad started the law firm I worked for and was a big player in TN liberal politics, ran for governor. I thought maybe from some things he had been saying the last few months it was a possibility; he basically said that the Dems have gone too far left

I've been a democrat since I turned 18 and registered. Had no idea what to register as. So, I asked my old man. He said register as a democrat that way when the primaries come around you can vote for the dumbest democrat running, then, when you vote in the election you just vote for the republican. And I have always done so. This year it worked. LOL! Biden has to be the Dumbest frick to ever run for President.

I consider myself more of a libertarian and did not vote for trump in 2016. I did this year though. The Brett Kavanaugh smear campaign is what put me over the edge.
I’m in Georgia and bet there are a bunch more like me.
Ps. I haven’t received any polling surveys nor have any of my friends or family in the area Which are all heavily for Trump. . I guess they’re too busy polling in Atlanta to try and distort the projections.

I know some John Kasich/Jeb Bush republicans who didn't vote in 2016 because they didn't like Trump. They're voting for Trump this time.

a few. Most of my friends voted trump reluctantly in 16, and will proudly in 20
I have one that didnt vote in 16, but voted trump last week.
"i used to be a democrat but those frickers are batshit crazy now"

There isn't one single person in this entire country that voted for Trump in 2016 that would vote Biden in 2020.
I know of at least two. I don't think there will be enough of these to make a difference, but they are most certainly out there.
Both are saying it is solely because of the COVID response, which is hilariously stupid IMO.

Two coworkers (oil/gas industry), changed their minds after the last debate. They were going to and have voted democrat for over 20 years. Both now voting for Trump.

I know several that refused to vote last time and are pinching their noses to vote for Trump.

It’s 2020, dude. It’s ok to have two gay moms, but don’t bring up lesbians on this board without pics.

Gary Johnson received the largest % of 3rd party votes since Ross Perot in 92 and 96. If and who those 2016 Johnson voters vote for could have a HUGE hidden impact this year.
For ex: Trump won Michigan by ~11,000 votes. There were 173,000 votes for Johnson in Michigan. The probability of all 173k of those people voting 3rd party again seems highly unlikely. So even if just half of those people "pick a side" this time, that's ~86,000 votes up for grabs. That is a big amount in what is expected to be a very tight race.
In WI, the margin of victory was ~27,000. ~106,000 voted for Johnson in WI.
In 2016 HRC was polarizing. Same for Trump. The Bernie Bros were angry. The question is what do those 2016 3rd party voters do this time:
Flip to Trump? - (likely the group who lean conservative but didn't "trust" Trump in 2016)
Flip to Biden? - (D's who didn't like HRC and angry Bernie Bros)
Stay home/vote 3rd party again ("protest" voters)

Yep. I know one who voted for Trump and now voting for Biden. Also one who voted for Trump and definitely not voting for Biden, but not Trump this time.
