He's a socialist for the same reason he never had a real job. He has a leech mentality.
A lot of liberals are like this. Their whole worldview is based on noticing that someone else has more than they do and thinking that the someone else doesn't "deserve" it.
They see successful people as just "lucky" which, of course, means by extension that their arse isn't lazy...…...they're just "unlucky".
And, this shapes a worldview whereby stealing from them makes total sense. It's not like the successful person "deserved" the success!
