Trump is too high energy to spend much time sitting at that desk. I bet he stands most of the time while in there.

A few things I would have done differently in Obama's office. I like the fact that Trump's designer incorporated the oils of Jefferson and Jackson. Gives it a very stately aged feel. Something in that vein would look better than the landscapes and abstracts in Obama's. Everything else looks great. Navy drapes would look better than the wine IMO though.
For the most part, Trump's is garish and trying too hard. All of the flags give it a cluttered feel. I like Obama's stripes over the print in Trump's. Ralph Lauren does a stripe similar to this. Trump's has WAY too much gold and gilt. Reminds me like something out of the Kremlin or Riyadh. Not quite tacky but almost.
