If you only know people who support the same side as you, then you don't get out much. As far as my immediate family, my sister is a huge Trump fan, my brother doesn't really talk about it, I have no idea who he will vote for. Me and my mom don't like Trump. When I get into my extended family, its pretty big so there are republicans who hate trump, democrats who love him, but politics are rarely discussed at family events.
Its hard to avoid especially during election years, the last thing people want to do when everyone gets together is talk about that shite because I think most people with some sense realizes that it doesn't really matter who is elected because special interest is who is in control of the government.
If you are a business and you need to get some laws passed, you don't write a fricking letter to your congressman, you hire a lobbyist. But the good thing is.. A president only has 4 years to prove to the American public they are worthy of another 4 years. But you don't want to make a mistake and give someone who isn't doing what's in the best interest of the country another 4 years when they don't have to play it safe since they are not running for re-election.

The boards most hated poster had convinced me to vote for the dementia candidate that has been in politics for nearly 40 years without doing much.
Good job proggie.

My youngest sister is. My sisters are separated by one year and the older one married an engineer from Baton Rouge and is a MAGA stay at home mom. The younger one married a doctor from fricking Lafayette and is now a liberal. My mother tries her best to keep the peace, but my brother and I are ruthless.
Don’t let your sisters marry into families from Lafayette.

My brother is a big Trump hater because his wife is the personal assistant to a billionaire and they are always hanging out with all the liberal elites and they have corrupted them. He doesn't say shite though because he knows I will argue with him and I know he was raised better than that.

She also claims to be "fiscally conservative and socially liberal". When I explain that these two objectives are contradictory she clams up.
These two things do not have to be contradictory. You don’t have to use tax dollars to address perceived social inequities.

Yes my sister and niece. Both hate orange man. However when asked why both say they don’t like his a-hole ways. Lol. They both had their hearts set on Killery winning and were heartbroken. Since then they are against anything Trump. When ask about Biden its always more about the hate for DJT

Every social liberal worth their social liberalness wants the government to enforce socially liberal policy, thereby expanding the power of government into private lives.

No, and if there was I would disown them.
That’s pretty sad.

Sure do. They're awful, no matter what trump does they continue to explain how it's ok and he's doing so many nonspecific good things
I am sure they hate the peace in the Middle East he is creating.
Other than that, care to specify.
Seriously, as a Marine, I'd like to know why my Commander in Chief is such a POS.

My House is MAGA AF.
Our sons laugh at Biden. I try to stop them, but most of the time, I have to laugh, too.
I don’t care what anyone else thinks or does. Free Country, used to be, anyway.

My mom and sister are very liberal. My mom has basically disowned me for voting for Trump. Very sad situation, but I refuse to change my political beliefs to make them happy. When I point out that them writing me off for who I am is a hateful, judgmental thing to do that is very Trumpian in nature (at least following the left’s narrative that Trump disparages entire groups of people), they get furious. I generally now just try to shut down any political discussion they attempt on me. Unfortunate situation all around as my mom is getting up in age so you never know how many years you have left.

My sister’s family in the DC area. My sister was always center-right but her husband’s family is center left. My BIL, whom I love despite his political leanings, has friends in big gov who have him convinced that Trump is actually a Russian puppet because they have sex tapes of him doing “unspeakable things” and he’s being blackmailed by Putin. He really believes this and has convinced my sister of it. They totally have TDS.
It’s really sad.

My MIL. Diehard Dem that lives to watch MSNBC every morning and CNN at night. She's one of those "TRUMP'S GONNA CUT MY SOCIAL SECURITY" types.
You should have seen her face when my wife(no pics)voted for Trump in 2016.
