When I opened a bus8mess I took a chance. I made an investment. I put my future on the line. I should also profit greater if it succeeds

Loser Theory of Value

Just how individuals can best apply their own labor or any other resource is a central subject in the first book of the series. Smith claimed that an individual would invest a resource—for example, land or labor—so as to earn the highest possible return on it.
What about this Smith quote then. What if the highest possible return is to simply own the land and let it increase in value?

He is picking a choosing to support his view... I wonder if screaming at the sky that "life is not fair" gives him peace at night?

I know. I can’t figure out why the generation who works harder and makes less than their parents (who are the biggest recipients of the benefits of socialism in this country’s history) would give us so many young socialists.
Been trying to figure this one out for years and I just can’t seem to crack the code.

Millennial here. We work as hard as, not harder. There is a distinction

We left our self pity at college and went to work.

You may have left your self pity but you certainly held on to your angst and flannel shirts

I'll take this deal all day long. We got quoted $500 yesterday to mow our lawn.
Granted our lot is big and is terraced, but fricking hell...$500?!??!?!

So does everybody make 35 dollars an hour where you work? The receptionists need 45 dollars an hour to get their spa days and mani & pedi's daily. All eat at Ruth Chris' every day for lunch it is only fair, no?
