Do people realize those pulling the strings are not devious masterminds?

Well, yeah, they are certainly devious, but I think we are currently witnessing how in reality they are only slightly more knowledgeable and competent than their puppet whose strings they are pulling.
Can you imagine what is really going on behind the scenes? It has to be total unabashed chaos trying to figure out WHAT TO DO.
This is why this situation is completely untenable for the US Executive Office.

They are Cersei Lannister... They managed to get in power thanks to getting the opposition taken out via cheating and everything has gone to shite since then.

At the end of the day this is why I shake my head at conspiracy theories. Conspiracy theories almost always rely on a hyper competent collection of government workers able to keep secrets.
There is no grand coordinated plan. There is just incompetence and disinterest mixed in with inertia.

Totally disagree see the global “build back better” video. See the WEF speeches from years past. See the billionaire class’s involvement in things that they shouldn’t be involved in. See China’s activity in Africa. See Australia’s over the top restrictive environment and who is moving there. Etc.
To think that there isn’t a coordinated movement towards globalization is just flat out false.

They are certainly devious. Are they Lex Luther types? No. But they are ideologues who make policy based on relative morality and achieving political goals aimed at power entrenchment. Many are also corrupted by the dollar, so political actions are often driven by the donor class. They also conditioned to see their opposition as evil, and therefore act unscrupulously and unconstitutionally to silence and marginalize them. They view the constitution as piece of clay.

Barrack Obama did not write Obamacare. His puppet masters and special interest groups handed Obama and his team the 1990 page bill and told them what to do. Our politicians don’t actually write the legislation anymore

2 rather obscure or overlooked things stand out to me. When Obama convened a meeting in the WH during the 2008/2009 financial crisis, there was a serious discussion about nationalizing banks. My God!
