Do Democrats realize that in the long run, it's better to take the "L" this time?

It's obvious to anyone with a brain, absent fraud, Trump wins this going away.
Trumps' base is NOT going to take a stolen election lying down, so it would be smart for the Dems to ride out the next 4 years and try their fraud on the next guy not named Trump.
Does the Democrat Party possess that sort of wisdom and or patience or are they so afraid that 4 years of completely un-tethered Trump will bring it all down around their ears?

I suspect the reason they ran him in the first place was the assumption this might be a throw away election for them. Of course with the cash Facebook and others throw at them it still keeps them in the game with a puncher’s chance.
I also wonder if they didn’t throw him out there as a sacrifice to distract from Hillary and Obama to try to prevent them from going down.

They are worried sick about Breyer and want Clarence Thomas to retire under a Democrat President. If Breyer dies or leaves while Trump is President and Thomas retires, its game over on the SC for a generation.

Naw, they will just add 7 new justices to the court when they get power to do so. When the Republicans keep the Senate in Nov they need to pass a law locking in the number of Supreme Court justices at 9.

If you're a Bernie Bro left wing populist you should absolutely want Trump to win again. Trump has nearly killed the GOP establishment in less than four years. What's he going to do to the DNC establishment in another four? Look at all those people Trump buried in the GOP primary in 2016. Where are they now? They either joined with Trump or their careers died. The neo-cons are either gone or Democrats now. In four more years of Trump the Nancy Pelosis and Joe Bidens of the world will be done forever. If Biden wins the establishment is going to bar the door to the ivory tower and nobody is ever getting in again.
