What's wrong with the minority having representation?

They did - that's partially my point - approximately 1/2 of AA members of congress won in districts that are majority white districts - thus, on the broader issue of whether AAs are underrepresented in congress, the factual data destroys the argument - on the narrower issue of whether AAs cannot win a congressional seat unless the seat they are running for is racially gerrymandered in favor of AAs, the factual data destroys the argument - AAs are NOT under-represented in Congress and racial gerrymandering is not needed (nor is it legal) in order for AAs to be represented (equal to the AA population) in congress

Not so very long ago Ron DeSantis sent a busload of south of the border invaders to Marthas Vineyard, Remeber that? And what did the locals do? They called for the National Guard to remove them. NIMBY

I think they're more like 20 to 25% of the population. LBJ's black baby breeding program is showing results. The more you have the bigger the monthly government check is.

No such thing. You are either American or you’re not. No need for an adjective or hyphen.

My buddy in the Boston area makes me laugh. He always talked about how the south is so racist until he came down to Alabama and took a wrong turn. He had never been in a ghetto or seen ghetto trashy people. The only black he ever interacts with are educated professionals.

Sorta the same thing happened to me when I was at law school.

Made friends with a guy from up north. Right before he graduated, he told me “now I know why yall feel this way.” Totally unsolicited comment.

Had another friend in college who was from New Hampshire. Said the first time he ever interacted with a black person was after he came down to LSU.

Ugh. These fricks with their dumb white people / smart black people tropes. Dovetails with the dumb man / smart woman trope. I mean, all us white guys did was create modern civilization. 4commies, you’re welcome.

Off topic and definitely racist thought (apologies in advance), but, what if Martha’s Vineyard (2.64%, or 364 very wealthy and accomplished individuals) suddenly had to experience the reported 33% of blacks that Louisiana has. What if they had over 50% blacks , like Battin Rudge? And the vast majority of them represented an economic and social deficit? We’re holding political office? Dictating the future of MV?

Hell, Martha’s Vineyard folks didn’t even let the 50-60 of Joe’s illegals that Gov. Ron flew up there stay an entire weekend. They had them shipped out somewhere in the Midwest or some other nondescript location far, far away from the Vineyard. Without even letting them have so much as a sniff of a lobster roll.

But Gov. Ron was the racist…

Currently there are 62 African American members of the house which is 14.25 of the house seats.

The numbers don't bother me. It's when I hear them speak and none seem to have an IQ over 100.
