I watched Flynn explain to Bannon and Charlie Kirk how the intel game was going and how Tulsi was just reading the report. We really don’t know who to believe. For now I have to just believe what Trump is saying.

Tulsi stood up to the Clinton machine when she had a big role and was the up and coming in the DNC. I have no problem trusting her to follow her moral compass. She does the right thing.

There should be enough mixed messages and red flags to motivate discussion and question what the government is saying as justification for going to war. Surely, given what we’ve seen in the past, that can be appreciated.
You’ve got the IAEA director saying there is no proof that iran is close to a bomb or building a bomb and that their report provides no justification for military action.
You have the DNI saying 3 months ago that iran is not close to a bomb.
You have the ranking member on the senate Intel committee saying there has been no change in the intel in the last 3 months and, if there is, he would like to know about it.
And we know there has been tremendous pressure from some in the intelligence community, the military brass, and from Netanyahu and Mossad to strike Israel now because there is a window of opportunity: Gaza is rubble, Centcom commander (pro war & tight with Israel) is retiring later this year.
This doesn’t smell to anyone? Nothing?

got to run but I listened just when he started talking about Clapper. Overall it is common sense there are deep intel experts that will give Tulsi and others bad intel.

This is all too much like a movie where the deep part of the intel community does what they want and provides only the info they want based on their either nefarious goals or their own goals where they honestly believe they are the good guys and know better.

Are we sure about that? Are we sure we want Iranians choosing their own leadership? After Iraq, democracy ushered in a disastrous wave of radicalism in the Middle East. When, (not if) we start bombing the ever loving frick out of the Iranian people, does anyone really think they're going to "elect" a Western friendly moderate?
And on the second point. Israel needs and wants those proxies. To give them up is to give up their victimhood and they will never, ever do that.
Victimhood is the only thing that keeps American eyes upon them. If Isreal is at peace or they're not being victimized by someone, everyone, anyone. Then why would Americans give anymore of a wet shite about Israel than they do about any other Middle Eastern toilet?
Take Hamas for instance. Just when folks think Israel has fully destroyed them. Just when we think it's finally over. Israel will remove their boot from the Hamas throat and allow it a breath. Hamas serves a very specific purpose to the Israeli power structure, and that purpose is victimhood. Israel will keep Hamas alive.

She is absolutely right. When Trump asked the reporter who in the intelligence community disagreed he was told Gabbard. That was an outright lie. Trump should have said that’s not right. He took the reporter at his word. Trump did Trump. He said Tulsi is wrong. So now it’s news for the next couple of days.
