hmmm - have often wondered why Pompeo did not get some sort of position in new Trump admin - even thought he'd be a shoo-in for SOS.
This may be the reason.
He has surely not said much bad about Trump in the past - still don't have any other reason for why he was shunned. I do not recall any conflict between him and DJT - always seemed supportive to me.
