I'm on the fence a bit right now. DJT is acting like a tittybaby lately, but it's pretty clear the GOPe is lining up behind Ron. So, orange man is gonna burn it all down.
Everyone should be on the fence to some extent. Ron is a politician who is going to garner establishment support for a number of reasons, regardless of what he does. One of those reasons is that he's a very good and very successful politicians who has implemented some of the strongest conservative legislation in America and is perhaps the most outspoken culture war politician in a generation.

There is nothing more fickle than politics. Put any of these guys up against Biden and the dynamic completely changes.

You have to win the race to call the shots.
Trump is serious about winning, something the Democrats all to well understand, and something the GOP needs to learn.

All the more reason for Ron to sit out 2024. If he gets in, Trump v Ron is 1000% guaranteed mutual assured destruction.
And when we're all sifting through the ashes of their civil war, Trump will be waiting in 2028 to destroy him again. And I know you're all thinking "He'll be so weak by then..." and this and that. But even then there's no doubt he'll be able to wield at LEAST 25% control of this party if not more. Certainly enough to spoil any chance of winning.
If Ron instead runs as Trump's VP, he's in the drivers seat, win or lose for 2028.
I don't see how in the blue frick the majority of you don't understand this. I really don't.

They do. You’re forgetting the majority on here waving the RDS banner absolutely hate Trump. About 95% of them.

It’s currently not his responsibility. Everything DRUMPF fault

Some may believe/hope that Trump would, in the end, care more for the country than his own ego.
If that's not true and Trump would choose to burn it all down, do you really want a guy like that in the oval office? Honest question, because I can't imagine a rational adult would.

Don't hate Trump rather have just lost confidence in him and quite certain he cannot win the general election. We have conservative rock star in DeSantis and it only makes sense to roll with Ron.

The guy who shows up in every thread crying OMB is accusing someone else of being sensitive?!? Really?
You've got the wrong guy. I have never cried OMB, have made it crystal clear that I will contribute/vote for Trump in a general, and that the jury is still out for me for the primary.
You understand that it's okay to be critical of DT, right?
So again, why are you overly overly sensitive about DT?

I have no issue with that line of thought either. It’s definitely something that has to be considered.

If not Trump, then somebody LIKE Trump. You'll know them when you see them - They'll be someone that Jeb, Paul Ryan, Mitch, Lindsay, and Mitt hates.
I have zero preference between Biden and a GOPe candidate because they're the SAME frickING PERSON. The establishment Republicans grow government at the same rate as Dems. The only difference is that the weapon manufacturers get more of the pie.

Why shouldn't Don sit out? He's 78 and has already lost.

He has already made his plan and statement on it while Ron's whole team running his camp is pro Ukraine backing.
His top person was at Zels election and is embraced with him!!!
