I care more about the skills and work ethic that a person brings than the color of their skin or whether they’re male or female. Diversity doesn’t mean anything in reality.

I think of America as a family pack box of play-doh. Lots of vibrant colors peacefully living in cans inside a big box,carefully assembling with others to make beautiful creations. Diversity smushes all the colors together into a dull brown blob.

1. "Diversity" itself is not necessarily a strength. Unity of values is a strength. We have too many people from too many different backgrounds and traditions coming here to make $$$ and nothing else.
2. The original "diversity" was still mostly NW Europeans, then later central and eastern and southern Europeans. Most of the immigrants pre 1965 integrated and "melted" into an American identity. Those pushing "diversity is our strength" aren't interested in assimilation. They're interested in maintaining every additional culture, at the expense of what used to be the "American identity".
3&4: There's nothing to be done. Anybody paying attention knows this country will not be held together in the future without draconians measure and powerful, oppressive government. We are already gradually getting there.

Does diversity of thought include those who believe racial and ethnic diversity is a worthy goal on it's own?
I ask because people have a tendency to get aggravated when high numbers of people vehemently disagree with their view of the world. See also both Repubs and Dems.

Diversity of talent, skills, ideas, "energy" for lack of better terms is one of our biggest strengths.
That is not the diversity the left is talking about with intersectionalism.
Diversity for diversity's sake is stupid. It's a stupid goal. It's a stupid policy. It's a stupid argument. People who expend any resources pursuing it are stupid.

If progressive-race-baiters didn’t use it as a wedge between races, I, for one, think it would be a strength.
The kind of diversity that our elementary teachers is just not here.
It’s more of a:
1. Suppress your oppressive whiteness
2. But accept other cultures.
This is not diversity,
And when you have:
-politicians simulating our president’s demise
-mainstream rappers spewing violence and racism
-cair
-professors telling me how awful my ilk, and I are.
