Im not even talking about the "America was built on slavery" statement that flies in the face of the fact that there is no lasting economic benefit of slavery.

Im discussing the notion that "slavery is a foundational piece of America for over 400 years"

Well lets get one thing straight the United States of America isnt even 250 years old at the present moment. The English Colonies are not America. Nor are the french or spanish or whatever.

The United States of America was built on principles that are the ANTITHESIS of slavery or oppression or racism. Things that had existed prior to the creation of the Nation since the beginning of time. Sure....we didnt immediately shake all of human history the minute the ink dried on the Declaration of Independence or the Constitution. The idea of our country was a jarring and radical moment in human history. It took us 91 years to fully implement it. In less than one life time this country had such strong foundational principles that it was able to rid itself of one of the last hangers-on of the old world.

It wasnt America that gave us slavery. It was the inability to fully buy into America. It was being unAmerican. Had we abided by our founding documents there wouldnt have been slavery.

So lets not shite on the ideas and structures that ripped slavery from the dying clutches of worlds that people willingly left to build a new world.

Slavery is no more American than a muslim honor-killing in an ethnic enclave of Sweden is "Swedish".

Our education system for a large majority of people has absolutely failed them

We reap what we have sewn

They burned all of the accurate ones so they could write their own history.

Most whites came here under indentured servitude, which is arguably worse than being brought here as just a slave.

Every society in the world practiced slavery until white people ended it.

Now it's returning in parts of Africa.

Africa, today has the highest rate of slavery, not much has changed. They just aren't selling slaves to the West now, they would if there was a market.

Why would they do that? They can literally say or do anything, truth or not, and Corporate Executives roll over and play dead.

Qatar still has it and people like the Clintons are always partying with their Emir who operates as a monarch.
