Walt Disney Co Chief Executive Bob Iger told Reuters on Wednesday it would be “very difficult” for the media company to keep filming in Georgia if a new abortion law takes effect because many people will not want to work in the U.S. state.

quote:

“I rather doubt we will,” Iger said in an interview ahead of the dedication for a new “Star Wars” section at Disneyland. “I think many people who work for us will not want to work there, and we will have to heed their wishes in that regard. Right now we are watching it very carefully.”

If the law takes effect, “I don’t see how it’s practical for us to continue to shoot there,” he added.

So, the company whose very existence is because of children is pissed because Georgia doesn't want to kill children.

Makes sense.

Maybe if GA citizens had more of those there wouldn't be an issue.

Are they doing this because they feel that their employees need abortions on demand, or is it the principle? What kind of folks are they hiring?

Hire Georgia actors and actresses. There are plenty of them and already live here. They are also far more talented and far less political than the POS big boys/girls/Xens in Hollywood

Edit: added girls/Xen to boys, so none of our liberal friends are offended

When white people quit giving Disney a dime they will fold this virtue signaling/progressive bullshite in a heartbeat. Same for the Hollyweird bozos.

The law is unconstitutional and isn't going to take effect. Everyone but dumb virtue signaling rednecks know this.

How long before these companies start declining service to people from Georgia?

I can envision signs outside of Disney World that says "No Georgia Residents allowed!"

Some would say Roe V. Wade is unconstitutional.

You mean like unprotected sex with someone whom you never actually plan on having a child with, then getting pregnant?

Pinewood Studios in Fayetteville is the home of almost all of the last 10 Marvel Studios pics.

Now that is looks like we may have a similar bill in Louisiana maybe all the film companies will pull out of Louisiana too.

The savings of the subsidies for taxpayers would be huge.
