The discovery of 215 bodies buried in unmarked graves behind a jail outside of Jackson, Mississippi

Pretty crazy story. It is mixed race, so maybe that will prevent rioting. The main subject when exhumed actually had his wallet with id on the body. He was hit by a patrol car and they couldn't id him... thus, the paupers grave. Is sounds like an incompetent and uncaring Coroner, to me. That person should be ID'd and will unless they are a protected minority. Same goes for the cop that hit him.

With his wallet and id on him.

What a horrible way to go. His family has likely been looking for him all this time.

No, unfortunately it's true. Of course Ben Crump has to show up but one of his clients is actually a white family.

His number was 672. So, there must have 671 others buried.

Remember all the hoopla regarding the supposed unmarked mass grave in Canada that activists complained about? It was supposedly the graves of native Americans who were sent to residential schools? Oh, the humanity!

The pope made a special trip to apologize for it.

Well did you hear the news that came out a couple of years later, that it wasn’t even a grave site. That’s right - no bodies. It wasn’t a grave site after all. Whoopsidaisey! They hadn’t even investigated the site when the allegations were made. It just “looked like” graves. The rest was speculation.

How many of you heard the first part, about the horrendous graves(!), but never heard that the whole thing was a hoax?

Can Jackson get anything right?

They’re gonna pay through the nose with this. What a terrible thing to put those families through and hope they all end up in jail. Having a record of a burial yet not sharing those details - then lying about it to boot?

From a Yahoo article -
quote:

Wade's case took a disturbing turn when it was revealed that he had identification on him. This identification was given to the lead detective by the medical examiner. However, the detective claimed to have called without receiving an answer and took no further action.

Yahoo News
Also even if they can't identify the guy (they could), shouldn't a cop hitting and killing a guy with his patrol car amount to something? Would be vehicular homicide for me and you - instead they just buried the dude out back and carried on. Awful

That’s fricking horrible. Imagine your child going missing, getting the run around from authorities, and then 8 months later get news “we found him!” Only to be taken to a junkyard for shoddily buried bodies. WTF is going on there?

Finally we agree on something. Jacksonians and Hinds Countians elect and then reelect (as in retarded) some of the most incompetent "politicians" on the planet. So I guess they wanted it since they voted over and over again for what's happening.

When your mayor tells you he is going to make Jackson the most radical city in the country and gets 80% of the vote then I would completely disagree with you.
