I supported the Obama tariff out of safety concerns. Tires from China, Mexico, India and a whole host of 3rd World suppliers are not manufactured to American safety standards and shouldn't be on the road.

Free market conservative here. We are now a country of consumers not producers. The market spoke. If Chinese steel meets specs then I see no problems.
If Trump wants fair trade, demand countries drop their tariffs on our products. Not start raising them over here.
