Did you know the NIH had a cure for SARS in 2005?

They knew Chloroquine stops SARS but sat on their a$$e$ for 15 years while the french figured out it worked even better with azithromycin?

I guess there is more money in vaccines than in a couple of cheap drugs.

Our government has betrayed us and we need to exact revenge.

Nancy Pelosi, Chuck Schumer, Bernie, and Biden were all in congress back then.

In vitro.

FWIW, bleach stops SARS in vitro as well.

So were Republicans. Why are we separating them? Shouldn’t every member of congress be held accountable? This is the divide that I really don’t get on this board.

Are we always going to pick sides and play my team is better than yours??

First off mAbs likely are a way out of this mess. I believe Regeneron is leading here, not Israel. REGN mAbs could be ready by June. Israel may be trying a SARS product rather than a CV19 specific one.

And now everyone is playing dumb. This is a globalist plan to get our president. A lot of sheep have to die in the process. They wanted to cull the herd anyway.

HCQ isn’t a cure for coronavirus. And it wasn’t for SARS.

The link you posted details an in vitro study, which is far from conclusive proof in a clinical sense.

I’m afraid that the M. O. Of the board is forever caste in terms of Dem vs Repub.

Or at least left vs. right. It is too bad because it prevents actual discussion

Not just in vitro, but animal model - "African green monkey kidney cell line".

Not just the board. Some enterprising political scientists are already establishing political identification as a predictor of COVID beliefs.

(like much social science, it tells you something you probably already know )

quote:

We find strong evidence in Panel A that relative to Republicans, Democrats are more significantly likely to report having adopted a number of health behaviors in response to COVID-19. These behaviors collectively reflect a practice of “social distancing” and align with CDC recommendations for preventing spread. In Panel B, we also find strong evidence that relative to Republicans, Democrats exhibit more worrying attitudes about the pandemic. Democrats believe that the death toll is higher, that spending on public health responses should be increased, and are more likely to report an array of worries about the consequences of COVID-19 for their lives, including getting sick and resource scarcity.
