I don’t buy the strict “separation of church and state” the way it’s often used today. The First Amendment was about keeping the government from controlling the church, not pushing religion out of public life altogether.
I’m fine with no official state religion, but I also don’t think faith should be forced into the private corner. Our values and culture have roots in Christianity, and that should still have a voice in the public square.

Can you show me where the pope said we should have open borders?

Typical.
Can you show me where Biden or Kamala or any other prominent Lefty has advocated for open borders? That's not their game. That's not their rhetoric.
Open borders is not the relevant test here.

More moving goal posts.
The pope is harshly critical of illegal immigration/deportation matters in the US, yet reigns as Monarch of Vatican City with very tight illegal immigration/deportation laws.

You need someone to post Leo quotes criticizing the treatment of illegals in the US?

The proof is he won’t allow anyone without his approval to move in will he? You’re being as intellectually dishonest or obtuse as slowfloretard. Congrats

Nope. Well aware of that one. What some of you are claiming is very different.

First, the walls weren’t about modern immigration policy. They were built after a literal raid on Rome.
Yeah well, one man’s raid is another’s “migration policy”…. Hence the hypocrisy.

The claim here is the Vatican is hypocritical on illegal immigration/deportation.

OK. Could you please provide examples with quotes so you guys can’t continue to be misleading?

I don't know who "you guys" are. I've made my argument that the Vatican is hypocritical on illegal immigration/deportation. I think that's pretty much self-evident, if you have any awareness of what you're posting about.

I can’t prove a negative. Please elaborate.

I didn't ask you to prove anything.

I’m simply asking you to prove your claim. Maybe I don’t have the data that I need am wrong.
