They followed the laws (presumably). If not, the government didn’t do their job. But corporations this size usually have multiple full-time IRS people with their own offices embedded in the corporate offices.
People look at these companies and say they did billions in revenue!!! But we don’t tax on revenue (for obvious reasons). People slam Bezos for “putting profits first” when in reality.... he reinvested damn. near everything back into growing the business and didn’t take any profits out of the company for a looooong time.
He actually put the company (and sharehokder’s) values far above profits. People said the stock was a terrible buy because of that

Amazon sends whatever dumb thing I order in a day or 2. Apple makes little computer that fits in my pocket. Trump has ripoff golf courses for rich assholes and dumb reality shows for idiots. Seems fair to me.
