I get he is proud of operation warp speed and getting a "vaccine" as fast as he did, but his ego about it now has his base turning on him and people on the left agreeing with him.

He has always been Teflon Don but not sure he can walk this back especially as the vaccine has evolved from what was promised to now basically being Thera-Flu.

Couple that with the people associating the vaccine with mandates, which aren't on Trump, and I am not sure why someone didn't advise him to distance himself from it.

He took the vaccine and has always, to my knowledge, been pro-vaccine as are 99% of GOP lawmakers. The issue is should it be mandated which I don’t think Trump is for

Are you insinuating that the media is going to try to make Trump look bad?

No. His only competition in the primaries is DeSantis who is a huge vax proponent himself, so doesn’t matter a bit. If anything it’s a soft spot from the Libs on Trump owning Candace in their minds.

Because the vaccines in under a year are a monumental accomplishment and only morons like you can't see that.

Mandates are a different story.

I’m saying they’re wrong, but it’s what’s going on in their minds.

This is a major part of the problem with a lot of people right now . You don't have to be provaccine but the people that are anti-vaccine are just as fricking stupid as the people that are all about mandates. If people want to get a vaccine let them get one, the assholes that are all or nothing are the problem.

Fair point

I do think the current administration knows something more about the vaccine than we do and that is why they are suddenly crediting Trump for it

I am afraid Trump walked into their trap with the latest interview

I am not turning on him, he would get my vote.

I'm not taking it.

No. His base doesn't give a frick about "vaccines." We care about mandates and government overreach.

He's fine. Always will be. We know what he's about.

I don't care what anyone thinks about the vaccine as long as they're opposed to mandating it.

No. He’s been consistent.

Vaccines are good, no one should be forced to take them.

You’d have to be a complete moron to not agree with him.

The problem with the vaccine are the MANDATES. Why is that so hard to understand? Congratulations on being retarded.

What if I told you they had been working on a Covid vaccine well before warp speed?

As long as he doesn’t do mandates, everyone will stay with him; there’s no other option….. That being said, mRNA vaccines were a bad idea, and faced with the option of doing nothing, he was basically pressured into doing something, or face relentless death countdowns( which ironically have disappeared with Biden from the start) from a hostile press. Fauci ran a psy-ops on him, and that’s just the truth. Given the situation he was in, in an election year, I understand why he did what he did, but doubt history is kind, here, once the facts and truth about these vaccines ever comes out( which will take years, future immunity studies and cancer rates- there’s a reason they want to delay 75 years).
