According to Webster’s : morals usually connotes an element of subjective preference, while ethics tends to suggest aspects of universal fairness and the question of whether or not an action is responsible.
Preferences and “universal fairness” is subjective, and has certainly been fluid throughout history.

Naive question if serious. Slavery exists all around the world now. North Korea, Muslim countries, slavic countries dominate.

Where's the anger towards the ancestry history of the African hierarchy that was selling slaves back then and some countries that still practice forms of slavery to this day?
Why does White America have to take the full brunt of the blame for all things slavery in this world and history?
Most likely slavery has existed since the dawn of man.
These stupid mofos are worried about hundreds of years ago, where the hell do these pompous black athletes think their shoes are made by.

Morals and ethics can both be subjective. The former guides the individual and the latter is the collective version from the perspective of the culture/society.
My point may have been a whataboutism but it was in furtherance of a level playing field while pointing fingers.

Pelosi, et al, wore the banner (kente cloth) of a people who captured, and traded, other people to the Europeans in exchange for guns to kill other Africans.

If the early Ashanti Empire economy depended on the gold trade in the 1700s, by the early 1800s it had become a major exporter of enslaved people. The slave trade was originally focused north with captives going to Mande and Hausa traders who exchanged them for goods from North Africa and indirectly from Europe. By 1800, the trade had shifted to the south as the Ashanti sought to meet the growing demand of the British, Dutch, and French for captives. In exchange, the Ashanti received luxury items and some manufactured goods including most importantly firearms.

Slavery in Africa likely existed when honkies were still cowering in caves, scared of the Sun and shite.

What wasn’t built in the old world without slave labor?

Why aren’t the pyramids coming down?

Modern Americans apologizing for slavery would be akin to us apologizing for the Great Depression, unless you are a descendant of FDR.

Those were built by aliens dude... oh wait, are you implying that they aren't being torn down because it was ok to enslave the Children of Israel?

Maybe a bunch of Jews can go to Egypt and tear down the Pyramids. It's their right!

I won't do it justice but the Hodge Twins video on this had me rolling...
paraphrased: ".... YOU think some pasty white dying from scurvey just off a ship dude ran down your ancestors... captured them and hauled them off? Naw, another black man ran your ancestors down and sold them to the white man..."

I will let you in on a little secret. Slavery still exists in Africa and other places in the world but in Africa there is still an active trade.

Can't argue with this.

Fact: The Barbaby Pirates of North Africa enslaved more white people than the South enslaved blacks prior to the Civil War. You don't see any white people demanding reparations from the descendants of the Barbary Pirates now do you. That's because they wouldn't be foolish enough to even consider the request.
Also, I wonder who sold the slaves of African descent to plantation owners in the US? You guessed it. They were enslaved by their own people...other blacks...who sold them.
Slavery has existed basically everywhere on the planet aside from western europe. And even those in western europe had slaves in other areas.
What makes slavery in the US somewhat unique is that one race enslaved another race. It has historically occurred within races.

Egyptians enslaved the Israelites...
English enslaved Africans, Indians, Aboriginees (sp), and Orientals...
The Railroad in the U.S. enslaved Orientals... Then put a bounty on their head...
Rome pretty enslaved the known world...
Persia enslaved numerous races and cultures...
Mongols enslaved numerous races and cultures...
But yeah another race enslaving another race only happened here in the good old USA...

Slavery in Africa wasn't performed at the same scale as Europeans practiced it. In the Americas and Europe they practiced chattle slavery that was usually racially locked.
African slaves could potentially buy back their freedom (and while this did happen in the Americas, it was a personal decision at the will of the slave master, not a cultural phenomenon like it was in Africa).
That said, Africans still practiced slavery. On a personal note, I think slavery toward your own race is usually overlooked ( not just by Blacks).
