Where's the anger towards the ancestry history of the African hierarchy that was selling slaves back then and some countries that still practice forms of slavery to this day?

Why does White America have to take the full brunt of the blame for all things slavery in this world and history?

There isn't a person alive today that isn't the descendant of a slave.

Of course not, slavery is an American invention... never occurred in the history of the world before the founding of the "new world"...

Many African countries did not outlaw slavery until the last 30 or 40 years.

Slavery not only existed in Africa, it existed in America. Native Indians practiced slavery.

An estimated 50 to 85 million people are still enslaved around the world... Forbes

For those genuinely concerned about slavery.. shouldn't we free the current slaves before we worry about past redresses

Here's a more important point. There are a not-insignificant number of black people in America who are descended from African immigrants who arrived after slavery.

This means that there are a fair number of black Americans who are descended from slave owners and slave traders but not from slaves.

Do they get reparations too?

The intelligently dishonest...or moronic...will tell you, White ppl would have taken them anyway, so can’t blame Africans.

Bruh, America is to blame for slavery! Ignore the 1000s of years of slavery before America and all races being enslaved at some point.

And for the Native Americans apologist...they also fought, conquered, stole land and enslaved survivors that were of the right age. The surviving babies were killed, surviving elders were killed. But doesn’t fit the narrative

Still plenty of slavery in Africa.

Some folks might not know that the ACF has an Office of Trafficking in Persons (OTIP) to fight slavery worldwide, funded by your tax dollars to the tune of about $20 mil a year.

Slave trade is the second oldest profession known to man kind.

Black males are currently being sold in Libya as we speak.

The waring tribes of Africa had a history of enslaving the members of the tribes they defeated. They would then sell or trade the slaves amongst each other to maintain peace, as well as obtain “goods” from foreigners. This was not limited to Africa, and was a common practice among primitive societies throughout the world. It was even very prevalent among what we would call learned societies such as the Greeks, Romans, Middle Eastern, and Asian societies.

It is certainly nothing new and has at some point in time affected all races of the world.

The most brutal recent slavery was in Soviet and Nazi slave labor camps and gulags.

Boinie really loved the Moscow subway they built though.
