I keep hearing on the tube, Republicans decided it.

I clearly recall a statement from the fbi that they wouldn’t investigate it.

Our news media is sick.

Lastly, what federal crime would the fbi investigate if it decided to?

What is there to investigate?

She doesn’t know the day, the location, or who was there. Everyone she points out as a witness has no idea what she is talking about.

Where would an investigation start?

My limited understanding is that the FBI passed the allegation along to the white house and bowed out as they should have done.

Since the woman is appearing before a Republican-led committee it could be argued they are indeed investigating the claim.

Diane Feinstein submitted this to the FBI. Their response was decline to investigate and forward this letter on to the White House, as they do with all background check results.

Dems decided that when they withheld the "information" for weeks and throughout the confirmation hearings.

My understanding was that Feinstein (D), handed the info to the FBI, and the FBI nearly immediately came back with a decision to not pursue anything.

My hunch at the time was FBI looked at a 36-year old allegation against a kid and laughed.

The whole thing is just absurd.

Anyone calling for any investigation, let alone an FBI investigation is too stupid to help.

How in the frick do you investigate a boob grab from a high school party 30 years ago?

The only potential evidence is the so-called witnesses who all said Ford was an idiot.

Case closed.

frick, people. It's not rocket science.

They said, we have no jurisdiction in this matter, and referred it to the WH as part of the background check.

So the Toddy class that keeps yapping about the FBI needing to investigate are in fact idiots.

The FBI should have investigated so that they could spend months delaying the nomination only to find no evidence of assault, but as a consolation, take down his nephew for tax evasion on his lemonade stand business.

It's not just that they declined it. People are way overthinking this.

If a crime was committed she should have filed a report with local law enforcement. They would have pursued an investigation and anything that was found would have been in the background checks.

Even if she filed a local report when this first came out, she would have far more credibility because it shows that she at least has the confidence in her claims to file an actual police report.

and whenever the democrats get power again they will do this shite unbridled and no one with any capability of doing anything to stop it will question it.

“The next person that refers to an FBI report as being worth anything, obviously doesn’t understand anything,” - “FBI explicitly does not, in this or any other case, reach a conclusion. Period.” -Joe Biden

Fbi was not involved after allegations.

Cheerleaders pretended to investigate new issues.

GOP Kangaroo court decided last week.
Kav wins, kav wins.

fbi can and has investigated other supreme court nomination issues. Doesn't need to be crime.

FBI: What date did this happen?
Dr. Ford: I’m sorry I don’t recall.

FBI: Where did this occur?
Dr. Ford: I’m sorry I don’t recall.

FBI: You told your therapist that 4 men were present. You named 2 who deny being present at such an event. Can you name the other 2?
Dr. Ford: I’m...., I don’t recall how many people were there.

FBI: Yep, open and shut, since he might reverse Roe we’re going to castrate him, send his children to a foster home, and put him in a Gitmo cell. Anything else we can do for you ma’am?
Dr. Ford: Yes, it was her turn!

FBI: Well we tried, but a couple of dozen of us are going to jail over it. Maybe we can do something in 2020. Hay! You haven’t been suppressing memories of Trump have you?!
Dr. Ford: I’ll call my therapist and make an appointment for next week!

FBI: On behalf of the appreciative swamp, we thank you ma’am.

FYI received the "complaint" from Fienstein and put in in the background folder and forwarded it to the White house, like they did all the other background information the collected.

Since this is not a federal matter, the said there was nothing for them to investigate.
