Did Rittenhouse cause the YouTube downvote cancel?

For those of you who watch their videos they show you upvote totals but not down totals. I noticed it about a week ago.
A girl I watched today said it was because of numbers on the Rittenhouse related videos. IE, if CNN had an opinion piece on how much a racist he was it got 80% downvotes.
If Fox had an opinion piece saying the prosecutor was a liar it got 80% upvotes. She showed screenshots of the totals.

Thanks. But this just pisses me off and it's not because of political reasons. If I'm looking for standup comedy from Italians I'd like to see the ratings for the video before watching.

I don’t have premium. I can see the dislikes too, added several just now myself. I feel like there should be more though, dunno.
