Remember it was supposed to be 8 years of the wicked witch from Arkansas after Obama followed by no telling what after.
Hildabeast would've been terrible, but she wouldn't have been far enough removed from the "Democrat Party norm" to have created the chasm we see today.
It took the America-hating radical Barack Hussein Obama to set in motion the carnage which currently even has many Democrats upset with their own party.
But people like SFP claim not to have a clue that the toxic optics that the low-life Democrats presented to the nation during President Trump's speech have seriously wounded an already-reeling party.

For damn sure - he is the one to point the finger at and we need to laugh at anyone who tries to argue otherwise.
I am a staunch conservative - always have been - never voted for a DEM in any election above local in my long life. BUT - as much as I disliked Obama, when he was elected in ’08 I consoled myself with = “at least we can anticipate a halt to all this ‘systemic racism shite.” I thought we could suffer thru some bad policy outcomes to get rid of that bullshite once and for all.
Alas, not only was I wrong about it, it turned out Obama set back race relations for a half century and may have made it irreparable for a few generations.
I came to dislike that bastard with as close to mortal hatred as I can come for anyone not named LBJ.
However, there are other asshats who are trying to dislodge him from his current perch as the worst. The DIM party seems to be seething with aspirants to the throne of worst person ever.

So, it was "fate" that caused him to release water into the Pacific Ocean and have California utterly unprepared to fight fires?
You should get a job acting as an apologist for all things Democrat Party.

Which guard rails? How? Like a policy or just esoteric stuff?

Undoubtedly so. BLM was born under his watch. The post modern gender ideology also broke tumbler containment and injected itself into ALL internet spaces. The race grifting and radicalization from the left today was laid the seeds by him, as well as insulting trump turning him into by far the most powerful political force in the world and likely the best political comeback of all time.
It was only rapidly accelerated and his full true aim went into support during his third term under Biden

He was fricked by fate and not a real option for 2028 long before the fires.

Republicans control the house by like 4 members, how are Democrats dead? Nothing but exaggerated bs in this board.

Can we please move on from the stain of the slavery, the Civil War, and the Civil Rights fights after electing a black President?
Nope!
Obama had a chance to really affect change in the black culture and had 8 years to do it. He didn’t do shite.

I don't either typically.
You have to be a historic idiot in terms of the board with an immense volume of posting for me to do that sort of thing.

I should have included something about lying, too. That's what led to the comment above ITT

I think the foundations started with Clinton. Things like judicial activists, toadies, crooked behavior. Where Obama sent things into overdrive, was twofold. First, he never appointed anyone who wasn't a party-first loyalist, even when legal and constitutional matters were at stake. Second, he laid the foundation for the modern day brown shirts. You are seeing this being exposed with the USAID scandal funding these NGO's being used to register fake voters, protest conservative causes, fund media, and the like. Biden took the next step into censorship, which I think was a bridge too far for most folks once Trump presence in 2016 forced back the veil of government.
Its been a constant slide into despotism since Clinton, but I'll concede that Obama was better at it than the others.
