Did I just hear our VP compare Jan 6th to 9/11 and Pearl Harbor?

We have the news on at work but I couldn’t tell if I misunderstood over all the laughter in here.

Yep. The evil of these mental midgets knows no bounds.

A protest is now equivalent to actual attacks on America.

They showed videos of them storming the capital. The people were walking through the hallways looking at the pictures on the walls

To the people who run our country, 1/6 was much more dangerous to them than Pearl Harbor or 9/11. Those events allowed them to consolidate power. 1/6 challenged their power.

As well it should. Unrest and violence notwithstanding, we've needed regular displays on the scale of January 6th for DECADES.

Hell, the Founding Fathers assumed they'd have to 1776 the whole thing again within their own lifetimes. They understood the immutable nature of mankind and power's corrupting influence.

We were overdue for a show of 1A rights like J6. That fear that the Congressmen and Senators showed on their faces is a good thing. They're just so used to being untouchable that they don't realize it.

Anything to distract from their disastrous 1st year in office. You could smell the desperation through the TV all week long.

House/Senate flip back Red and the sham Jan 6 Committee disappears like a fart in the wind

Yup. Folks in Washington have forgotten who their bosses are since they don't need voters any more - just votes.

Their ability to never reach the bounds of ridiculous hyperbole is often their undoing.

I think most, regardless of political party affiliation, would agree its not a good idea to have ding-dongs dressed in costumes rolling into the Capitol building breaking things. But to compare THAT with one of the worst attacks by a foreign nation on US soil...something that ultimately led the US to enter WWII...is beyond absurd and completely diminishes the speaker's credibility (not that she had much anyway)

Exactly.

ONE ENTIRE YEAR in power and there is NOTHING positive they can tout as an accomplishment to the public.

Joe proved he had no actual plan to stop covid

The vaccines are proving to be more and more useless by the day...all while Democrats scream for people to get MORE shots

We are no closer to the end of the panicdemic than we were in January of 2021. In fact, the country is regressing back to absurdity.

The entire country sees their cost of living has increased significantly

But hey, at least their wasn't a Pearl Harbor-esque "attack" on the Capitol where exactly ZERO of those "attacked" lost their lives
