I like it. Real world economic implications for un-American activities and laws protecting illegals.

I'm intrigued since this would also block the quick dispersal of any inbound agitators that might be called off the bench from Europe.

Yes, a lot of cities will be hit hard, but this has to happen. It's what these cities want anyway.

So this would mean both citizens and illegals would not be allowed to fly into these cities which is essentially the entire manifest, i.e., there would be no international flights, period! Am I reading that right?

Yup, which makes this ridiculous. This was discussed at length a few months back and the unintelligent on here said "The airlines can just fly into other airports"... Thats not how this works. Flight schedules and logistics are scheduled 1yr out. They can't just pack up and land at a different airport.
And they aren't worried about "illegals" per se. They aren't getting in through the airports.

Is that a serious comment? Do you really believe a delay due to weather or mechanical is the same as changing the arrival airports of not only 1 flight, but thousands a day?

The claim for this from DHS is "If you aren't going to send officers to support us or help us, then we are going to reroute our own officers from the airports to the facilities to protect our people". Where they say they will take those DHS officers (ICE/CBP) is from the international airports, thus shutting down international travel in and inflicting pain on the city/state.
