Correct. That was the tail end of the OG Satanic Panic era.
It died out for a while and blew up again with Pizzagate and it hasn't really died since. This Epstein stuff could be a bellwether for the neo-Satanic Panic CTs, though.

Every time you have one of these sort of cases unfold, you will have women latch on for their 15 minutes of fame. It happened with Tiger Woods, Harvey Weinstein, Bill Cosby, etc. She is not really a “victim” being that she was 21. She does want to be treated as a victim though, and see if this can make her any money or extra fame.
