Is the Poli Board defending the War on Drugs now? Maybe when Trump gets reelected, he can bring in Singapore or Philippine style drug punishments with him.

The War on Drugs has failed. It's time to move on. Treatment and education are the only answers here. And just because you are doing those two things, doesn't mean you are condoning use or promoting use.

The war on drugs failed because it was a halfassed attempt.

Treatment?

Stop offering treatment of drug abuse.

Kill the dealers. Kill anyone who possesses it.

Kill errbody.

Education? If this shite doesn't kill you, we will kill you.

Ask me about my ideas on how to reduce homelessness

Recreational drugs are a multi billion dollar industry, where there is a reward, people will take risks.

You cant stop the flow of illegal drugs, you just alter the method of distribution.

The current US government policy is to provide the Cartels with a monopoly.

This is it exactly. Another inconvenient truth.

There's a reason why some behaviors have been categorized as "deviancies."

Because if everybody did them, not only would the society/nation collapse, but likely even the species wouldn't survive.

The last time history saw the attempt to legitimize deviancy was with the Communist Kun government in Hungary circa 1919. Only they went after the kids in an attempt to corrupt them enough in that they would become so void of "self" that they would make good later marxists.

The Hungarian people when they got wind of it, solved that problem within weeks.

The guy who dreamt up that approach to marxian conditioning and was the Minister of Culture in that regime was Georgy Lukacs.

But he was forced to flee Hungary and get back with his ideological peers in Frankfurt.

Then he wound up here. It appears Lukacs and his theories on marxist-tinged conditioning never really went away with how the youngest and most vulnerable and trusting among us have been targetted.

I am not a particularly religious person, but once our country lost its Judeo Christian principles, the writing was on the wall.

We outsourced supporting each other and holding each other accountable to the government.

The libertarian approach only works if you aggressively crack down on homeless people loitering and littering everywhere. If people can't keep their drug habits in check they need compulsory rehab or jail if they are breaking the law.
